Dealing with the problems, situations, and difficulties in this life 2
Dear friends worldwide,
This is the third posting about the Bardo of life (Bardo meaning in between) In previous postings Ringu Tulku has advised the contemplation of the Four Preliminaries.
The First Preliminary is: Precious human life. To truly appreciate what we have.
The Second Preliminary is: Impermanence. To know and accept that situations in life are changing all the time. Nothing exists on its own, nothing is independent, everything is interdependent.
The Third Preliminary is: Samsara is a state of mind, where all of us have problems, difficulties where we have to understand and accept that nobody is perfect, and there’s lots of suffering.
The Fourth Preliminary is: Karma. Karma is where everything has causes and conditions.
Would also like to share an inspiring, loving Wishing Prayer for all of us by Ringu Tulku.
The wishing prayer was actually given for the New Year of the Iron Ox Year. I find it so applicable and accessible for an offering to all of us to contemplate as an offering for us every day. Although times are very difficult with the pandemic and now Ukraine and of course all our own issues, illness and so forth, it would be so nice if we can cultivate and keep some inner harmony and balance even in the most difficult and challenging times and radiate inner harmony to the world, like a beacon of light lightens the darkness and shines out love and harmony and a joyful spirit as much as we can. Even the smallest step in achieving these states of mind are so valuable, and collectively, with each other, we can make a difference for ourselves and those around us.
The Wishing Prayer offered by Ringu Tulku:
“May you have a constant smile on your face and live long and healthy.
May there always be laughter in your speech and bring solace to countless lives.
May your heart be ever filled with loving kindness, joy and peace.
May all your wishes come true in this year without making any efforts.”
Wishing you every blessing.
Love and prayers,
Margaret Richardson
